Work-In-Progress Keira Drawings

These are two work-in-progress Keira drawings I've started this week( I've only worked a couple of hours on each drawing). I still need to adjust the structure and form in her face and add more detail and fine tune the contrast. Plus, I obviously still need to do her hair. Frankly speaking, Keira is pretty damn hard to draw^_^! I've been pretty busy with other work so I don't know when I'll finish them. Anyway, when they are finished, I'll post them in this thread.

Not bad, not bad. Looks like they will be good once they are finished. Can't wait to see the final product.

Oh, I really like the first one, and the second one even moreso. They look like they'll be beautiful once they're finished.

First one is awesome, and its pretty obvious what photo you're basing it on, so nice work.

Thanks for the comments and compliments. I personally think that the first drawing is better structure wise than the second drawing right now. I think the nose and lip is a bit off in the second drawing so I'm going to try to adjust it a bit more. It is funny because I thought the angled view of Keira's face would be the more difficult to draw. The difficulty I'm having with the second one is the way that the shadows obscures some of the details of her face from the picture I'm drawing from.

her cheekbones have to be perfect!, spend lots of time on the basic structure of her face, the first one is great, the second one is good, but dosnt look like keira.

Thanks Narg! I'll actually have some time this week to finish both drawings so I should be able to post both finished drawings in this thread this week . I agree about the second drawing not looking much like Keira right now. Once I start adding in more details and contrast, hopefully it will start to look more like her.

I had a few hours in the afternoon to work on the first Keira drawing. It is basically finished. I changed her face structure/form a bit more and obviously added a lot more detail, shadows, contrast, and of course, her hair.

To be honest, I didn't see the Keira in the second drawing at first, but it's turned out just awesome! I love both of them, I wish I could draw that well

They are both awesome! I, like Leonie, couldn't really see Keira in the second one when you first posted it. Now that they are finished... I like the second one a lot. Great job!

Thank you for the compliments Leonie and Jasper! I appreciate it. Keira was definitely a challenge to draw. The problem I was having with the second drawing initially was in the placement/location of her nose and lip( as you can see in its early stage). I draw freehand and don't measure, scale, or grid anything so it was a bit difficult.
