Hi!
I have an idea what may be good for the forum:
It would be good when it's possible to select the gender (male/female) in the User-Properties and this should be displayed under the name.
So many people here have strange Usernames, that don't seay anything about the gender.

but one can easily lie about their gender and i dunno, some peeps may not prefer to give their gender away :icon_err:

I think that's a very good idea. Maybe better to make it "optional". So then only if you want it!

If you want to f$#ck it and give your wrong gender... go to hell :fencing:
... If it's hard to choose: let it blank, or let others decide it

But then where would our member status go? I'd rather be labeled as Senior Member.

You can put it under the age field, a good idea, not sure how easy it would be for Baz to do.

I'm not too sure if the gender thing is such a good idea. It's a bit too obvious. But, it's up tot he admins. I have complete trust in Apoggy... :err:

I don't know much about programming Websites, but I don't think it's very hard to do.

Yeah, that's not too terribly bad, apple. I personally just have a hard time depicting what symbol goes with what gender, but I can figure it out.

I'll have a look at adding another optional field underneath the age/location.
If people want it, great. If people want to abuse it then fine - judge at your own discretion.

I don't get why you would want to know their genders... but an extra area sounds cool.

A lot of confusion is caused by members calling each other 'him' or 'her' and sometimes people find it insulting.

Apparently the name Sarah is used for males and females in some countries.
