They're thinking of doing 20/20 for 2012.

Fucking win. The olympics only needs wet t-shirt competitions with Gracie taking gold for the USA to be better. Roll on 2012.

I definitely agree that jousting should be added, infact I think they should have an entire medieval tournament in the olympics that would include jousting, broadsword fighting, archery (although they already have that), and what ever other medieval games they can think of. Of course when I say they should add jousting I'm not talking about that pansy reenactment stuff where they use hollowed out lances or lances that have been sawed, I'm talking about real solid lances that you could do serious damage with like the real knights of the middle ages would have used.

As for what games they should drop, I think baseball and softball definitely should go. I know it's shocking to hear an American say that, but baseball and softball are so boring we don't need to subject the other countries of the world to that torture.

Why do so many people want to add jousting, but drop Equestrian sports? That's pointless....you need a horse for both.

And maybe Volleyball. Like golf, fun to play... can't stand to watch it.

What sport should be added: Fishing & Jousting.
I disagree. Womens beach volleyball might be the greatest sport at the sumer Olympics. Next to football/soccer.

Of course you would, I seem to be in the minority with the whole Volleyball remark. I only caught the men's, that's why I put it down. Forgot about the women...

The main sport that needs to be dropped from the olympics is a winter 'Sport'. And that is curling. If you have ever watching curling before... I'm sure that you will agree with me. It is the most boring thing to watch...

Personally, I enjoy curling. I find it intriguing how somebody know's EXACTLEY how far to "throw" the "stone" and the curlers themselves know how hard and fast they need to sweep the ice to cause enough friction to keep the stone rolling.

Do none of you Brits remember that millions of us (me included) stayed up till the early hours to watch the womens curling last time round? It may be seen as a boring sport but it does involve skill and tactics, the ingredients of a half decent sport.

Yes, that's what I was getting at, apoggy. The sport takes balls, brains, and a bit of luck. That's why I love golf so much, you need to practice at it, you aren't born with the gift.

You have to work at being good at any sport... You aren't born with a gift for any sport.

Some sports are just really boring to watch. Golf for instance... I love to play golf, but watching it is like watching grass grow...
