My First Attempt At Anime/Manga
This is going to be the last drawing I will be posting for a while( I'm going to be busy the next few weeks and I'm also going to be upgrading my camera and scanner). Anyway, I am currently taking some time to learn the style of anime and manga. I have always admired these two Japanese styles of art, but never really tried it before. This was my first attempt at doing a female character. The character is supposed to be a beautiful peasant girl. I tried to do a slightly different hairstyle than what is typical for conventional anime/manga. Also, I made the character look over her shoulder. In addition, I shaded her a bit to create a little dimension.

Thanks for the kind words Narg and frodo1511! I'm finding that drawing in the anime/manga style is quite interesting and challenging.

Good drawing. The facial features, the hair, everything looks spot on. Keep it up.
