I kinda feel your pain, kc. I have a friend, who, when watching King Arthur, could not watch the scene with Guinevere and Arthur(in case you havent seen the movie, I won't spoil it). He said that for now on, he will fast forward through that part. I have no problem when people die in movies, unless they were a big part of the story/someone I really like in the movie, so I would've shed a tear in the Hole as well.

Uh, I would rather go to my local best buy than amazon. amazon has not changed my place of residence since 1998, and I live in Missouri now. The website won't let me change my adress, so that's why I was wondering when the DVD comes out/ already has.

As for the drugs thing, I guess I grew up encouraged to just ask if I wanted to try it. My parents were always like "if you feel pressured to smoke or drink, just tell us and will give you a beer or a ciggarette." Funny, I guess I would do that with my kids too...like...encourage them to try something under my supervision. Better with adult supervision than among their friends. I, unfortunately, did not take my parents up on their offer and was smoking in 8th grade, and a few different kinds of drugs before I was even in high school. A bad start.

Anyways, I've never seen Pure, but I'd really like to. Someday maybe I'll come across it.

Does anyone know where I can find a region 1 encoded copy of Pure on DVD? I've been to every online store that I can think of and nobody has it.

Hmmm, well, you could download a multi-region DVD player and watch it on your computer. If that's not possible, it looks like you're out of luck (I am too, since I live in the US :icon_redf ).

It's not available on Region 1, only Region 2. Try making your DVD player region-free with this site:

then order the Region 2 disc. It worked for me the other way around with Princess of Thieves and The Treasure Seekers (which are Region 1 only).

I found out today that Pure's American distribution is being handled by an independent company called Indican Pictures, and they're looking to get a theatrical release for it.

Indican have now secured a release for Pure across the US, and it will be in theatres from April 8th. Some sources say April 1st, so check with your local listings guide.
