On Women's Day

March 8 is Women's Day. Observed and
celebrated by different sectors
throughout the world.

However, many are still not aware the
true essence of this special day.

It is more than creating awareness among
women of their roles and rights. It goes
beyond women's emancipation from unjust
treatment of patriarchal societies.

From the household to work places, women
are given the specific roles. Gradually,
from traditions to more challenging
roles, ...From sex objects to political
decision makers ... from baby sitter to
corporate executives, from wives to
business partners, etc.

Whatever they may be please do not
forget this:

"Favour is deceitful, and beauty is
vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD,
she shall be praised." (Proverbs 31:30).

I would like to wish this day all women, girls - happiness, well-being and success in all undertakings and affairs. And as I have already told do not pay attention to mongrels if this day something will be not so. It is your day, therefore use it on all of hundred percent, distract from work, daily cares and have simply a rest. It is your day and I give it to you!

Women's Day is evolved through the series of consultations, deducations, campaigns and lobbyings.

Women's role is typified and stereotyped to be inferior to men's. In work women are less desirable to be hired due to her role as wife and mother. Women are most likely to take paid leaves and maternity benefits. Discriminated.

Beauty contests are also one of the reasons of Women's Day. Women are exposed, displaying their bodies for unjustified purposes. Sex objects.

Women suffered from being wives with the traditional obligation to make love everytime her husband want to. prepare for meals everything in the the house. Child rearing is misthought to be exclusive for women only. SEx and Domestic Slaves.

Women also suffered physically from brutal and sadist husbands or partners. Verbal abuses are also atorture to women. Domestic violence victims.

All of these are analysed and verified to be correct and experience everywhere.

we united to liberate the women.

Now, how about us? there are battered husbands and partners. some of us are also victims of domestic violence?

Really? How many women wear just a pair of panties into the ocean? And, if it really is an underwear ad, I hate to tell you, but a lot of people think that women's underwear companies like Victoria's Secret and/or Frederick's of Hollywood are as much to blame for the sexual objectification of women as Hugh Hefner or Larry Flynt, not to mention the body image issues they cause. You rail against women being merely sex objects, and then post a picture of a woman being treated as merely a sex object. Topless, breasts covered with an over the shoulder glance is never going to hang in the Guggenheim.

The only "art" that it would qualify as is of the "pin-up" variety...and even though some would consider it art, it's overtly sexual in nature.
