I was walking down the street today.
And there was a clown. Now I assume he was doing a gig at some 5 year old's party. But he was so mean looking, and he was giving me a look. So I asked him a question and he fucking took is size 46 shoes and launched them at me like I was scoring the winning touchdown at superbowl 39. The he took off after honking his nose yelling "Honk Honk Mother Fucker! Honk Honk!" So this went on for about an hour....and then he saw a krispy kreme doughnuts and he stopped for a lemon.
What is the deal with clowns? They are so scary and I now hate them, thanks to Randy the insane clown that chased me. |

LOL. That's definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Personally, I don't like clowns either. I don't know many, but the ones I've met are freaking sad, and rude. I feel sorry for those who don't liek their jobs cause it's hard trying to make people laugh and end up scaring them. the thought of entertaining little kids for hours is scary really.

I think being scared of clowns is a cultural thing. Like the English, they aren't afraid of clowns. But almost every American I know has a fear of them. In the newest Harry Potter film when the little girl changes the snake or whatever to a clown, jack-in-the-box thing....all the English children in the movie laughed. But there was a seriously chilling gasp that came over the theatre when that happened. It may have been the scariest thing that's ever happened to me. Good movie though.

Maybe it's generational...
...as well as cultural.
Kids used to have clowns at their birthday parties all the time when I was growing up, and I don't remember anyone being scared.

Why are people so scared of clowns? I'm not, but then again I've never met a clown. I had ponies at my birthday party, not clowns.

The only clown that terrified me was IT. Yes you know IT...Stephen King's IT. I was about 7 when I first watched the movie. I thought to myself "what the hell!? I thought clowns were supposed to be friendly and make you animal-shaped balloons". Ofcourse looking back at the movie today, it's looks so lame.

I'm erasing my post. Sorry. Refer to my clownhouse thread for my opinion.

Clowns feast upon the flesh of babies. It's a fact.
