Black and white suits everything.
It is a beautiful, abstract medium, without the utter mess that normally accompanies abstract art.

Please stop spamming - your comment seems to have little to do with the topic of this thread.
Unless you are comparing the scene of resident evil to the graveyard in the photos, in which case you still don't get what the thread is about. Please try to promote discussion in future, post meaningful responses. Thank you! |

Something I failed to mention earlier is that I really like the ethereal quality in the trees at the far end of the road in context with the cemetary on the right. I'd like to see this explored further. It has a real other worldly quality.
And, you have inspired (where the fuck is spire?) me to go out and purchase three rolls of 120 film (2 rolls of TMax 100 and 1 roll of TMax 400) to shoot up this weekend with Marcia. Woot.

Yeah...a digital back for a Hasselblad 500C/M's a bit out of my range. Besides, I love the smell of film.
And chemicals. :icon_err: Only users lose drugs.

These are mostly random shots I took earlier with my new camera. I was outside taking pictures of our old dog (which were crap because he would NOT stop moving) and I spotted this little grey cat sitting in a crack in the ground sort of hiding. It had AWESOME eyes and I'm thinking "Great this cat is never going to let me get close enough." It was sooo friendly! It came as soon as I called it and posed for me and everything:
![]() ![]() Think it has some kind of skin condition, the poor thing. ![]() ![]() ![]() Hilarious post-yawn shot. I think I'll add a caption and submit it to "canihascheezburger.com" or something. These are some household pet randoms: ![]() ![]() ![]() (Sorry if these load slowly for some of you!) |

hmmm... get the macro lens i talked about. you'd get alot more control on the focus that you do with the 18-55mm for the close up shots
