Keira's in a Book?
I know this is an old topic but...
What was the name of the book that Keira was mentioned in? The author wrote "her" in as a character? Ringing any bells out there? |

Are you talking about Bergdorf Blondes By Plum Sykes?
I read the book, Keira was mentioned. Something about actresses would soon be channeling Keira's style.

Thanks, Pink. But I don't think that was it.
The author fashioned an entire character after her. |

This answer isn't exactly useful, but I'm writing a novel and one of the main characters is based on Keira (though I try not to make it too obvious).
It's about this 38-year old politician/businessman who's well respected and all the rest of it, and he falls in love with an 18-year old actress (Guess who?!) I'm about 60,000 words through and probably need another 40,000 at least before it gets anywhere near presentable enough. I doubt it would ever get published, but at least it's given me something to do recently! |

I remember the one you're talking about. Two people joined the old forums at about the same time and kept chatting to each other on the boards instead of on PMs. They kept going on about making a book group which would only have been of interest to about 12 people in Maryland on a wet Thursday. All very annoying. I believe one of them phoned the author of the book you're referring to and he sent Liam an email politely telling him to ask people on the forum to stop phoning him up !
Can't remember his name though, or the title of the book. Paul

hey all. it's "robman". new name, new attitude (honestly, was gettin way too much spam on my old e-mail)
to answer your question KRev the book was titled "Iridescent Shadows" by Kevin M Bache. sadly, i know this because i knew those crazies that phoned the dude--actually, they were more like acquiantances than friends (my X was friends with them. Keira is in the book no doubt. it's pretty good if you like deep stuff--i kinda got the feeling it had more to it than the 100 or so pages it was. from what i remember of the interview which was posted Bache intended it as a first installment of a much longer story. can't say if and when it's comin out--all i know is it better have Keira in it again. i got "Shadows" on amazon; think my X got it at barnesandnoble. -"You have to know life is a big pile of turd." -"That's awful." -"Actually, that's not the worst part." -"It's not." -"Wait until someone steps in it." |
