OMGWTFKKWBBQ4 - Now Sat 24 November 2007?

Because I know how slow people are at arranging these kind of things around here, I'm going to start this topic at this early point. That also gives us an opportunity to have it in the summer if we like (so it might be a barbecue this year). So, erm.. Discuss. Any ideas - who/where/when?

It's the annual bbq. Hasn't been a barbecue that last two years, though. Last year was eating at a restaurant and ending up drinking store-bought wine in a playground. I wasn't feeling good the day after - I wonder why..

This was meant as a serious attempt to try and get something sorted out - maybe something in the summer to increase the chance of an actual BBQ, but I guess this will be as well planned as it has been the last three years :icon_err:

EDIT: I'm moving this to the OBN, hoping it will get more attention.

So, does anyone know when their holiday is? or is there even an interest in having the bbq in the summer?
I need to get off work in order to go and that can be hard in the middle of the summer if I don't ask pretty soon.

Heh, I know what you mean. Problem is, we're not that many at work and everyone wants the good weeks. So I thought that those who study have holiday most of the summer and might know when they're away

I only have 3 weeks in the summer so I have to get off work in advance. Can't just tell teh boss 3 days before that I'm not coming
