There's one downside - I overdo it a bit. I'm too quick, which means I got to leave early these two days. They run out of stuff they have to do for me. I should be careful no to make myself superfluous.

Also, I'm effing knackered. I should be careful not to burn myself out the first week. I do like the look on people's face when I give it some "I'm done, what would you like me to do next?" though :icon_bigg

Oh...that's right...because we're in the United States.

Well, it won't matter for long. The 'rents are selling out and I'm moving to Alabama. I'll be closer to Taylor by about six hours and hope to do some painting until I start selling screenplays.

Yes.

She's visited once and really liked the rolling hills and woodsy goodness that is the great state of Alabama. She's also met Taylor, and was roundly impressed...though, in all fairness, how could she not be?
We've started house shopping online and she is amazed by the prices. Much lower than Florida and the property taxes are a mere fraction. Alabama does have a state income tax, but you get and extra deduction on your federal taxes, so it really kind of evens itself out.
And, Alabama has more seasons...not just 'hot' and 'mild'. Florida is like a taco stand.

BEST day planned for tomorrow:

1:00pm - meet up with the girls, and have lunch at a pub
2:00pm - drink beer and play pool
3:00pm - drink goon in the park till it runs out
5:00pm - go back to college
5:30pm - eat dinner drunk (always fun)

Then we drink more till 11:00pm and go out!

So keen.

Two months and christ knows how many phone calls/emails and RMA numbers and my £3500 PC is still faulty.

Just over three hours of my own initative... and it works perfectly again.
