^btw for those who can't take a joke, that was one.

And yea, spam's annoying and all, but the newcomer thingy does help people feel better in the 'society' of it all when they finally become a member and get rid of the "newcomer" title. so in a way it's good, and in a way it's bad.

I didn't psot on the old forums, but I did read and the old forums were better. I have a theory to why. The phpBB software is mroe user friendly for a frum like this, but with the vB it is more complicated and proffessional and is not as 'warm'. As for the server, you cannot see a difference and the website is just as good as ever. Change the forums back to phpBB with a custom skin and you will notice the difference. more members, mroe posts and more fun.

After we just spent $80 on vB? I think not.
PHPBB was good and served us well. Time to move upwards.

I actually find this a LOT more user friendly, and it provides so many more options to work with. I LOVE it.

PS Baz, do I get my admin-ship yet?

Just my opinion... But after spending $80 I too would not change, but I am working for a company who is making their own forum board now if you are at all interested (www.FlaioSolutions.com).
