Name issues
I really don't want to be a silly questioning motherfucker, but this is what I've seen on www.tiscali.co.uk: "She was born Kiera Knightley on the 22nd of March, 1985, in Teddington, south-west London. Her name would become Keira as her Hollywood career took off, the change shamelessly breaking the golden rule of "I before E except after C" but making the name more easily pronounceable on a worldwide basis." while on www.keira.fanfilled.com it's like this: "Her birth name is "Kiera" and not "Keira". FALSE"
What the hell is really up with these things?

Her birth name is Keira Christina Knightley. Anything else is a rumour only.
If anything, spelling it "Keira" would make it more confusing to pronounce than "Kiera," wouldn't it? |

I knew her name was spelled Keira since I found out about her, but I always thought Kiera would have made more sense.
I did have a problem with the spelling of her last name, I always thought it was Knightly, not Knightley. |
