anyone else see the daily mail bit where they were saying Keira's skin had an orange tint or something while she was making Pirates Of The Caribbean 3 its not that noticeable though

I saw that, too....
I'm thinking that the extreme tan must have been the result of some decision on the part of the film's director, and has some purpose to it, as we know from recent candid pictures that, in reality, Keira is just as fair-skinned as ever.

At least that's what I hope.

I saw a pic from pirates 3, and yes she looked very
orange. It was the makeup tho. Were they trying to
make her look more oriental in her chineese costume?

They even went as far as to paint on a sunburned nose
and brown freckles in one pic. Must have to do with the script.
I really dont believe they would have left her out in the sun
causing her to get badly burned.

I think we'll find out that it had an intentional purpose.

It's probably meant to be a disguise or something.

It's too fake-looking to be anything else.

A while ago I saw a picture of Johnny Depp in an asian get up but everyone thought it was a fake.

I love Keira's fair skin. The tangoed look is... interesting.

Well defintly, but it goes with the story. In the first one they were trying to keep her un-tan because she just came from England down to the Carribean. In the second one they gave her more of a tan because she was there longer, and now with this one she is very tan.

But come on, Jack was out in the sun longer than her and he wasn't THAT tanned.
