right... once again IRC has died.. and i've taken it apon myself to revive it.

So for all the newbies, vist here -> http://www.kkwavefront.org/chat.php and get on there

...and all the regulars... get your ass in there more often and maybe we can get it back to how it was in the good days (not the bad days, lol)

...and dont use this thread as an excuse to moan about how IRC is sad, crap, pointless or whatever, if thats you're view. Don't use it.

hmmm... so i've come to the realization (with a few hours of lingering) that a lot of people come on to irc, realize they're the only one on that isn't idle, and leave. the key points to this are: 1. people actually come on every once in a while and 2. they don't come on at the same time, so they leave

to fix this... i suggest we arrange a re-opening sort of thing. schedule a time for this "opening" and that way people will actually be there, and you won't have to leave feeling sad and dejected that nobody is on irc to chat with.

so what do you think?

/me thinks it's a better plan than the one we have now... hahaha

Meh, I'm online from when I get home from work until I go to bed... most days around 21 kkw time will be fine for me...

Agree totally with Cara as to the problem. A "relaunch" chat session (probably best on weekend?) and if it's successful, perhaps a regular "slot" might be the way to go.
