^Well...when you're 7 years older there is a problem...but then again when I was 18 I got involved with someone who was 17 years older...stayed with them for 6+ years...and now regret it because I missed a lot of time I should've been playing and being a reckless young adult

7 years isn't that bad, makes you 25 when they're 18. But 17?! Wow. And you were with them for 6 years? So at 18 you were dating a 35 year old? And a 41 year old was dating a 24 year old?

I think that's weird. Not for you, it's normal for people to like older people, but someone of that age should know better than to date someone SO much younger. In my mind in that situation there's always a presumption that they're taking advantage of someone more naive and it's undue influence and duress.

i see your point, i dont think i would date someone with an age gap that big but i dont think there would be anything wrong with me dating a 25 year old for example as i dont think the gap is that big.

There's nothing wrong with it in European countries because you can drink alcohol and party but in the States an 18 year old can't go places that a 25 year old can so your dating scene is limited by the age.

And yes, I was a little naive in the beginning but then I got smart...just took a long while LOL

Ahh. Good point. Actually, I know what it's like trying to go out with someone who can't get into licensed places...does limit the options a lot. Going home and having sex always remains open though.
