Or you can pretend you are actually doing something by buying one of the rubber bands with charity names on. They come in all different colours, so you can soothe your throbbing guilt at not actually doing anything in whatever outfit you like.

Everyone at my school has them. Apart from me. I prefer to actually do something- like donate if I can (not often. I'm a teenager with many material needs).

Also, as was said so impactingly at Red Nose Day this year- it's always those with the least that give the most.

Actually, those bands are a donation... well usually, unless they're just like the Nike ones which are stupid. But the money you pay for the bands go to that organization such as American Cancer Association, poverty, or Beast cancer fund.

The only thing is, is I think most of the people who have them at my school don't know that they give money when they buy a band... And anyway, I think most of them get them off eBay (bloody typical, eh?).

The Danish goverment went to a conference not very long ago to argue for whaling, I don't know the result though.

Just recently the Danish government has presented it's proposal to a new set of laws against terror. If they get through with it, Greenpeace could be punished by them. Some of their actions could get them fines on somewhere between $100,000 and $200,000. Yay.

It wouldn't be specified as terrorism, but the laws would still fit. I saw on the news that Danish Greenpeace would stop that sort of actions.
