Atonement
A rumour lost in the haze of the Oscar nomination, the Vanity Fair furore and the Boleyn Girl rumours has proved to be correct - Keira will star in an adaptation of Ian McEwan's novel Atonement. She will play Cecilia and filming will take place in June/July. P&P's Joe Wright will direct, and will again be for Working Title. This is according to the Daily Mail today (usually reliable). More soon.

Damn Keiraweb has been down for the past 12 hours....
Doesn't Paul realise that there are legions of people with nothing better to do than look for information about someone they'll never even meet who are UPSET by this?!?! No time to sleep, buddy -- get the site back up! Jesus. I really should give my ex-girlfriend a call...After the Oscars. |

James McAvoy will play Keira's love interest and central character Robbie Turner in Atonement, today's Daily Mail reveals. Keira will play Cecilia.

Has anyone read the book? I'm working at Barnes and Noble, and it's been really popular.

Looks like it, I wonder what part he is going to play, the brother? Since Robbie is already cast you know they aren't paired up again.

Yes, maybe he will play Leon, although I think he is way too old. I wonder who Rue McClanahan will play. She is too old to play their mother so I have no idea.

If Rue McClanahan is in it, they ought to get Betty White and Bea Arthur, as well....

Does anyone know anything about that? |

I've been meaning to read this book since before I even knew Keira was attached to it. I hear it's supposed to be really really good.

There's a casting call for Keira's double going on today for the scenes to be filmed in Shropshire. This should be on my local news tonight as I'm not that far away. Can't wait to see what sort of people are in the queue thinking they look like Keira
Why would they need a double if it's not a professional stunt double I wonder ? http://www.shropshirestar.com/show_a....php?aID=45884 Paul

This movie has so many good things going for it. It will be directed by Joe Wright, it has James Mcavoy. I love Mr Tumnus! And it has Mathew MacFadyen.
Now I can't wait. |
