And the hate continues in today's Mail on Sunday. I swear the journalist who wrote it is jealous of Keira...it goes above and beyond questioning Keira's talent as an actress and is just downright personal. Example: "The only time I stopped wanting to shout at her to shut her mouth [during KA] when she finishes speaking rather than leaving her jaw ajar and eyes agog like a breathless cod...".

It's the journalist's (Molly Watson) second horrible piece in as many months on Keira. The first one was titled "Am I the only one who lives in fear of seeing that blank stare?"

Sadly this isn't jealously, it's the truth.
We all love her to bits, but at some point you're just going have to face the truth that the girl simply cannot act to save her life.

I think she can act, Dr Zhivago, Pure etc. She was fine in them...

I'd have to disagree Bazzle my man...the girl clearly can act...is she the best actress EVAR as some on here gush? Nope...but she is a capable actress who shows promise...one mustn't forget her mainstream films have been ones where she's hardly had the chance to show off many skills...I think The Jacket, Pride and Prejudice and Domino all look like they have the potential to be serious films which test her acting muscle...if she pulls them off, that'll show her potential has been realised...if she fails she'll be yet another wasted talent.

Truth...it's amazing how many people gush over Kate Winslet's ability to act where in my opinion she couldn't act her way out of a cardboard box...she's NEVER done anything I've enjoyed...but because she's the "role model" for how women should be comfortable if they're not a perfect rake thin waif...the press love her...and in my view her thin frame is a LOT of the reason for Keira being slated...people see her as a bad role model for young women.

Ok, sorry if this has already been posted, but I'm too lazy to look back through the 16 pages: In the July/August issue of Premiere, there is an article in the Editorial section(front of the 'zine) featuring you know who. Two people commented on the front page article featured a couple of issues back, one complaining on why they put both full-page pictures on one page(so he couldn't see them both on his fridge and another complementing her acting abilities. Also, there is a relativley new pic to go with it. If someone would be nice enough to put this article up for all to read, it would be great.

Personally, I think Natalie Portman should have won, and Keira should have been second. Well at least they both beat Kate Winslet!

That article is amusing. If you go all the way down, she's quoted saying, "I'm like a man." which should of been a very good reason why she shouldn't be sexiest woman :P But good on her, even if she thinks she's like a man.
