I hate to say it but this Domino thing looks really REALLY cheap and tacky. I hope this isnt some gross mistake that plunges Keira's credibility and career into the depths of nowhere.

Given the writer, director and cast of this thing, I really don't understand the level of scepticism shown here.

I mean - if you liked "True Romance" and "Donnie Darko" how can you not have high hopes for "Domino"?

What he said. I expect it to be good, but yeah, it'll look tacky and cheap...like errr...the late 80's? Which, I think, is when the movie is set.

Someone looks a little out of place. Other than this, I think this will be a good movie. Cast looks solid, writer is excellent and the director is a damn fine director (a hack, but one of the best).

But isn't that the whole point? "Young model becomes bounty hunter" and not "Ex-cop becomes bounty hunter". She shouldn't look like an almost 50 year old former boxer.

Mickey: I don't particularly care myself for actresses at all. I really don't like them. She's like a breath of fresh air and if she wasn't I would tell you. I have no fucking problem telling you, but it's really rare that I see somebody especially at that age, lets say in the category that she's in at the moment where she's not like some Hollywood sort of who's said I’m the next so and so. She's genuine. What I really like about her is that she's a lady. She's very classy. I caught myself going, “Shit.” At such a young age she's very talented, she's really classy which you don't find often, or I haven't with the people her age or older. So it is like a breath of fresh air working with somebody that I have respect for like that.

Q: Is that actresses specifically, or actors too?

Mickey: Both, but especially actresses. But I like her a lot. Then again, Tony has got really good taste sometimes. I think that he made a really good and interesting decision with her. He was telling me beforehand, she comes from a whole other world than this character would.
