I'd say she did it for the film. The real Domino is a blonde.

I think it was a bit of both, really, but you should ask her if you want the real answer.

I hate to say it but this Domino thing looks really REALLY cheap and tacky. I hope this isnt some gross mistake that plunges Keira's credibility and career into the depths of nowhere.

Given the writer, director and cast of this thing, I really don't understand the level of scepticism shown here.

I mean - if you liked "True Romance" and "Donnie Darko" how can you not have high hopes for "Domino"?

What he said. I expect it to be good, but yeah, it'll look tacky and cheap...like errr...the late 80's? Which, I think, is when the movie is set.

when you say flashbacks, i imagine juxtapositioning of action scenes with scenes depicting her modelling days.

more movies should be set during the 80s.

Err...in order to stay on topic...Dominos...black and white things...will the movie be in black and white? (yeah, a stupid link but fuck it, I'm feeling lazy)

Here's a new FAQ about Domino containing interviews which put a lot more meat on the bones about this movie:

''Brian Austin Green was even worse off for wear, with a bandage wrapped completely around his head. “I get the sh*t end of the stick,” Green revealed. “It’s become a running gag. Tony for fun likes to bloody people up and Keira breaks my nose in the film. She punches me and sort of from there it’s been the gag of how bad can this guy get it?”

What prompts Keira Knightley’s Domino to sock Brian Austin Green in the face? “Because I tell her I think that she has daddy issues and she’s full of shit and not nearly as tough as she acts.” ''

Who does this Brian Austin Green guy think he is? Glad Keira broke his nose.

edit - oh in the film lol

Oh man. Brian Austin Green is from 90210. That's AWESOME.

/me sings the 90210 theme song.

This movie looks like ass. About 12 different kinds of ass.

Someone looks a little out of place. Other than this, I think this will be a good movie. Cast looks solid, writer is excellent and the director is a damn fine director (a hack, but one of the best).

But isn't that the whole point? "Young model becomes bounty hunter" and not "Ex-cop becomes bounty hunter". She shouldn't look like an almost 50 year old former boxer.

Speaking of which, there's an interview with Mickey Rourke on CHUD.

The Keira-related bits:
Quote:
Q: What do you think of Keira?

Mickey: I don't particularly care myself for actresses at all. I really don't like them. She's like a breath of fresh air and if she wasn't I would tell you. I have no fucking problem telling you, but it's really rare that I see somebody especially at that age, lets say in the category that she's in at the moment where she's not like some Hollywood sort of who's said I’m the next so and so. She's genuine. What I really like about her is that she's a lady. She's very classy. I caught myself going, “Shit.” At such a young age she's very talented, she's really classy which you don't find often, or I haven't with the people her age or older. So it is like a breath of fresh air working with somebody that I have respect for like that.

Q: Is that actresses specifically, or actors too?

Mickey: Both, but especially actresses. But I like her a lot. Then again, Tony has got really good taste sometimes. I think that he made a really good and interesting decision with her. He was telling me beforehand, she comes from a whole other world than this character would.
