I have spent far too much money on CD's since I got here. A few recent purchases that are getting a lot of play time:
Slayer - Reign in Blood / God Hates Us All Metallica - S&M / Master of Puppets Muse - Showbiz Damageplan - New Found Power Top songs: Slayer - Angel of Death / Cast Down / Expendable Youth Metallica - Master of Puppets Muse - Muscle Museum (favourite song...ever) Damageplan - Blunt Force Trauma Mraw.

Wow, My Name. It's really nice to see someone else that listens to Django. Or even knows who he is, really.
The only people in my life right now that I can talk about him with are some of the older folks that frequent the restaurant I work at. Haha. I see we have lots of 'emo kids' here. That's funny.

no one has posted anything here that vaguely resembles true emo. but i digress. i think the teenybopper hillaryduff fans are equally well represented.

hah
me and jacoby were talking about emo earlier and how I am the closest thing to emo, musically. I listen to some emo but I dont look like one of those Hot topic fruits.
If I put Fugazi, The Hot Water Music, Basically anything off the Deep Elm Record Company, Emery, Mineral.....Then I'd be emo. At the drive in I guess counts. They're to odd for a genre. I think Jacoby is emo. |

R.E.M - Losing My Religion. I just heard it for the first time and now I can't get it out of my head.

The bands I like are so far from Emo...like |................ this ................. | far from Emo.......whatever Kyle...don't make me post that Emo pic to clarify. I'm listening to Ben Kweller right now, and Vetiver...both Indie, not emo. I'm also listening to Ugly Cassanova. Neutral Milk Hotel, Velvet Underground, Nick Drake, Beck, Manitoba, Elliot Smith, The Shins, Death Cab, Postal Service, Red House Painters, Iron & Wine, and a few others. All those bands are not emo by the way. Boo yah. So you can go back and listen to Fire Burn Monday or whatever poopemo you listen to. lots of !//Edit: Kyle and myself won't fight again. We settled our differences and are currently dating. He kisses weird.

haha I was hoping you'd react like that. I got a good kick out of it and if someone mistakes you for emo you snap....funny.
Gracie is sooooo emo. Emo now sucks, everything is the same. Plus bands taht don't sound emo are mistaken for emo.....Dashboard Confessional for Gods sake. I also dont consider these hardcore emo or post emo indie different. I add them all into the simple genre emo. I used to like the Get up kdis but they lick ass. O screw it I'll make an emo thread instead of raining on keira loves lipgloss's thread |

Concert
On side note, I just got back from a Nickleback, 3
doors down, and puddle of mudd concert. It rocked. 3doors down did really good. They are quickly becoming a favorite for the moment. I also had the chance to meet the members of Puddle of Mudd backstage and get my CD signed. It was an awesome night. Any other good concert stories? ![]()
