Many of you know that before I got sick I use to work for the county ambulance service. I spoke with one of my old partners today. He told me they are going on high alert this weekend. They have been told to expect a possible attack on 07/07/07. There have been many warnings like this in the past, so I wouldn't panic too much. But you may want to be careful. With all thats going on in Europe right now it makes sense that it is possible.

eek. I hope it's just a rumour.
Dates like that one and "capicúa" numbers (ie: 1331) are considered lucky here. Every time you get a capicúa bus ticket, or one whose digits add up to 21, it's a good luck symbol.
I hope you don't get attacked on a supposedly lucky day :/

Tomorrow is San Fermin in Spain, one of the most important traditional events.
A lot of people run for the streets followed by bulls and the have to arrive to a site called "Plaza de toros".
Every year there are some hurt people for the bull's horns

, but it's funny run and run in the streets

Anyone running in a race like that deserves to be hurt.

I honestly fail to understand why they couldn't just stick to giant heads.

I'm sorry, but I agree with Elle. It's dangerous, besides people provoke the bulls and they get hurt with no real reason...I watched it several times on tv and was horrified.

I hate it when animals are used. Even the shepherds that work for the Police...I prefer either animals living peacefully in the wild or the "domestic" ones living happily and well taken care of.

Call it my own personal utopia.

The bulls are terrified, trying to find a way out of the narrow streets of Pamplona. Once they get to the stadium, the only reason they keep attacking is the number of spears sticking out of their backs, which would enrage any other animal, including your pet dog or your sister, for example. These bulls are no different to ordinary bulls you'll find in ordinary paddocks all over the world. They are in pain, and they are frightened, and they can't get out, so they attack as a last resort.

It is a uselessly cruel tradition.

And it sucks.

It was.and heavy crowded in churches for wedding with no danger.

For Bulls I think it's funny and i like to take participate in one of them.I guess no one murdered in this event.Is it true Yuvik?
