This is one of my favourite Keira films, probably because it's the first role I saw her in. Anyway, watch it!

I havn't been able to find it in the US. I bought it on dvd of of ebay from Canada for $15. Definately worth it.

I bought it off of Amazon.com in the US. It's not that good of a movie in my opinion.

Average film, if that, only saved for as long as Frankie's alive...the second she's no longer in it (shan't say why for those who've not seen it)...the film goes pear-shaped.

well not jsut the hole.....I cant find Doctor Zhivago anywhere either.

I just have to say, that i only just seen the hole, and i thought it was awesome, Acting was good, especially the psychiatrist women from matilda, good character base, nice effects and photography, and a good story line, with some great twists, some nice keira scenes of course .

The only bad things i can think of would be that the ending didnt tie everything up, and ofcourse i realise that this was made this way to keep the viewer thinking, but I dislike endings like that, i want the end of the story.
Another thing would have had to be that the story was quite predictable once you started seeing the true 'visions'.

I think this is one of the movies were Keira actually has to act a semi-difficult and diverse role, sick, slutty etc. I am only comparing this movie to POTC, BILB, and LA, but this would certainly be better than BILB as a overall movie, but i dont think it even comes close to POTC.

I was pleasently suprised by this movie, what were your thoughts when you first watched it ?.


...also Keiras hair dosn't look good long and strait, but thats just my opinion.

I liked it! I thought Thora Birch was a bit iffy in it, but I think it's a role Keira suited, and so gave a convincing performance. Could've done without the gratuitous nudity, but an unpopular opinion I'm sure I also liked the soundtrack.

Except BILB is better than POTC to begin with.

For those who have the canada release of "The Hole" on DVD, can find a different cover behind the one that's shown. Flip it over, and you'll see the cover in a different language. Something I found awhile ago that shocked me.

Was there ever a premiere for The Hole? The only pictures I can find are of Keira and Thora at the Bridget Jones premiere.
