Yikes I've had that dream once too...lately I keep dreaming I'm a mermaid, damn Disney. But I'm an unhappy mermaid in these dreams...it's very bizarre.

I've been sick too (fever FTW...karma for letting KKW die?) and watched "Holiday" despite my hatred for rom-coms-with-a-touch-of-drama-'cause-we're-so-original.
I found myself actually liking Jude Law's character, his portrayal was honest and human. And though I find Cameron Diaz boring and monothematic, her neurotic character shared several of my personality traits and had me thinking "God, this is what I'll be like when I'm older..." (sans the too white house, Barbie wardrobe and blonde hair)

I have Death Race on my Netflix, and can't wait to watch it.

I love the Holiday...it's probably one of my favorite movies! I agree with you about Cameron Diaz. I don't usually care for her at all, but then I started thinking about who else should have played that part, and I couldn't think of anyone! I liked Jude Law too, I think it was one of his few movies where he didn't remind me of a child molester. But I loved that movie because of Kate Winslet (which is usually why I love any movie that has Kate Winslet in it).

Today I watched The Ring. I'm usually terrified of horror films, but this one wasn't scary at all xD

LMAO at the Jude Law comment! Haha, I've always seen him as "I'm acting sweet/seductive, but I actually plan on screwing you at the first chance I get, go me! Plus I'm so darn pretty."
I think "Alfie" was believable mainly because he was sort of playing himself.

And I just wanted to HUG Kate on this movie! I usually don't react that way to I've-been-pining-over-him-for-years-and-he-doesn't-even-know-I-exist characters (think Katherine Heigl's in 27 Dresses...I felt like stabbing her.) but Iris was adorable. I teared up at the Tribute to Abbot thing

Oh wow, you know him personally?

I mean I'm assuming you do if you know that that's how he is in real life.

The Joe Strummer Documentary. The man was taken way too soon. Also the film is informative and transcendant.

LotR II was on TNT, so I was more than happy to watch a bit of Viggo before going to bed. A nice sigh-fest

Watched again the lovely "The Jane Austen Book Club", which finally spurred me into reading every book.

My darling Joly, are we picking fights? I strongly recommend against it.

Perhaps you forgot your reading glasses o simply overlooked the part of "I've always seen him as...." and "I think...", which express my own personal opinion, not necessarily stating an undisputable truth.
And reality can be perceived in such endless ways, who can really say? Maybe he's a sweetheart. Maybe he's a cunt. Maybe he likes to wear pink maryjanes while singing Somewhere Over the Rainbow buck nacked.

And your point is...?

Slumdog Millionaire- Brilliant, but I don't think it deserved best picture.

Wall-E- this was an amazing movie. Though I feel depressed that I felt more in common with a sentinent robot then the fat blobs of meat that the humans were.

I don't want a fight, I'm just pointing out that I too can make snide unnecassary comments on other people's posts.
I can see why you don't like me as I am a bit of twat, but you're the only one that seems to bother critcising everything I say.
I'll stop if you stop, dear.

Vicky Christina Barcelona --- very nice.
Slumdog Millionaire --- everybody says it's overrated, actually, yes, I expected it to be more powerful, but it was just ordinary.
Seven Pounds --- hey, I almost cried when she came to look in the eyes of that guy, very moving...
New In Town --- if it was a comedy, then... well.. I don't know
