Just saw Slumdog Millionaire last night. I recommend it. Danny Boyle did an awesome job with this one.

Valkyrie--good movie. It is high time people in the US learn more of the German Resistance. It was shockingly realistic (keep in mind, I have way too much time on my hands, and am fascinated by WWII).

Several weeks ago I saw Changeling and I must say that Jolie was great, she obviously can play a character in despair with all those tears and hysterics, there's nothing strange that she's nominated for a globe 'cause her part was done very skillfully.

Recently seen movies: Moulin Rouge, in the beginning, I was wondering what the hell I've bought, but then it turned to be a very sweet romantic film, besides I love musicals. The Phantom of the Opera was not so good, it was not as touching as I expected. Funny Face was good only because of Audrey and that's all. Bolt was nice but I expected it to be not so slow as it was. Wall-E was splendid; I think this one is gonna get a Globe or an Oscar.

I want to see Bedtime Stories, Revolutionary Road and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (I hope the last one will be moving enough to make cry just a bit for I haven't seen any really harrowing films for ages). And maybe Doubt but I don't expect it to be in theaters here soon .

Bedtime Stories I thought it is hilarious but the only thing which can be consifered funny was that cavy with crazy eyes but it is too hackneyed. Anyway, this fail doesn't make me stop loving Walt Disney films. I think its summer movie about animals as FBI agents will be better (don't remember the title).

I just saw Slumdog Millionaire for the second time, absolutely love it ... But not as much as The Reader, which I am rooting for to win Best Picture.

Saw Defiance a couple of days ago, very good. Not enough of the main characters died for it to be epic but it was very well made. Some of the accents weren't terrifically convincing - I'm sure Daniel Craig sounded scottish at one point but I think Jamie Bell was brilliant.

I finally watched

Doctor Horrible's Sing Along Blog

It's not as good as "Firefly" but it makes me want to see "Dollhouse" even more.

Dollhouse looks awesome. I have high hopes.

Since my boyfriend and I *never* go out (which I am swiftly losing my patience over), we stayed at home last night (Friday night!) and watched "Stolen Summer," since we had, of course, watched the entire season 1 of Project Greenlight the week before....jesus....

I don't want this site to die either...

I watched a Spanish horror flick, "The Orphanage". It wasn't that scary, but it does leave you feeling quite "ok...what really happened?!?" after it's over. And it's sad.

Also saw The Spirit (yes, things premiere here looong after they premiere in the 1st world) and found it amusing. A bit over the top, but Eva Mendes was spot on.

I just watched doomsday on a whim. I am not sure whether I hate it with every bone in my body or to be slightly amused by it. On a plus side it made me want to play fallout3 more.

I also recently watched Roman Holiday, I found it in a bargain bin for five bucks and thought that I would be a tool if I did not buy it. The movie is incredible. ( I would add more, but what?)

Seven Samurai- Shortly after Roman Holiday I discovered I still had a fever and plugged nose, so I thought I cant get to sleep anyways lets see what's on T.V. THis lead to four hours of awesomness and subtitle reading.

Oldboy- F.U.B.A.R also incredibly good.

I, too, check out the $5 bin, and recently picked up two movies:

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun An 80s comedy starring very young Helen Hunt, Sarah Jessica Parker and Shannen Doherty (who is practically a baby!) Sometimes I find myself rolling my eyes during 80s movies, but this one was fun.

Virginia's Run Picked up because I can't resist any movie that has a horse in it. It's pretty cliche and contains the same story line found in just about every horse story: little girl wants to ride special horse, but daddy won't let her because mommy died in a riding accident. Entertaining, but I'm glad I didn't pay more than five bucks for it.

The Dutchess. Keira is still a brilliant actress but... she looks exhausted and she's extremely skinny... poor girl..

As for the movie, it was very beautifully made: all those outfits, hairdos with feathers, marvelous indoor decorations and nature.

I've been sick on the couch for three days and in between drifting off into a feverish sleep where I dream that I'm in a concentration camp, I've watched seasons 1 and 2 of "How I Met Your Mother." OMG, it's hilarious.
