Why patents are the best! It's so you can make loads of money in the courts when people stell your idea!
Its not like there killing babies in the street or plundering 3rd world countrys!

But seriously, tell us why we should relly bother when there are REAL problems that we could devote our time to, Live 8, the problems in the sudan etc. Why is this issue so important?

it is just like david and goliath fight or a herculian job. it will start on educ campaign. then lobby or petition to your country and solidarity with other countries..

it is already an international law. for strict adherence of all memeber-countries of World Trade Org. IPR provisions must be modified. in a sense that the concept owner is not bastardised. but the poor countries should not be capitalised like prostitutes for their works.

but the issue is still fresh and unresolved. it is not about the date of the thread but the the call.

some people are calling for communism, some are for socialism. it is too antiquated issue but still need some careful analyses and positions from us.
