I don't know how to make it show up on here because I am computer retarded, so I'll just explain it. My current wallpaper is a picture of Smarty Jones winning the Preakness. And the little icon thingies I have are just the usual stuff plus mIRC, SAT prep, this learning Portuguese thing, a learning Arabic thing, and Oregon Trail (sssh...that games is fun

lol at mufiman's wallpaper. I used to have that side bar thing as well Moe, but I only used it for its MSN feature, but eventually found it cumbersome.

Uhh.. Vortex.. why do you have 3DSMAX version 5 and 6 installed?
As for the sidebar thingy: I don't use MSN (I prefer Trillian), so the main reason for it is having all the quicklinks in one place, plus something that tells me what I forgot to do ("Tasks" and "Calendar"). When you don't need it, it slides off-screen, as seen in the first shot, so it isn't really that cumbersome. |

I never did understand why people have so many icons on their desktop. Easy access, right? I only have two... my computer and the recycle bin. My desktop is set to default, which is just a blue wallpaper. Besides, if you have a slow computer... that shit will take forever to load. I wouldn't put myself through it.
