Yay, good wishings time, or just general spam and abuse. Happy New Year to you all, or at least when midnight strikes your timezone.

Its now 1:02am, January 1 2005.

First, I 'celebrated' New Years in Canberra, which normally would have been fine. Tonight however, they decided to turn Civic into a gigantic open-air nightclub, with stages and masses of speakers pumping out that awful one-note dog shit techno music. Again, normally this wouldnt bother me one iota (simply close my eyes and think back to the Slayer show I was at a few months back) but it becomes a bit of a pain in the arse when you are trying to wish your girlfriend a happy new year on a mobile phone with a dodgy connection to the network.

Happily though, we *did* manage to steal a large 5 foot x 3 foot 'drinking prohibited' sign (pics soon), I did manage to have a quick chat to my girl, and I did escape the awful thump-thump drone.

2005 promises to be a good year. Another 10 weeks at work (or 90 slashers, whichever way you look at it), and I make my triumphant return to the Netherlands. Soon after that, KKWWTFBBQ v3.0 is planned. And I escape university for another year. Smiles all round.

I don't normally go in for the whole 'best wishes' shit, but I'm in a good mood so happy new year to everyone.

Shit, typo.

To make things easier, 2.0 was the last one that the taxman fucked my plans for. 3.0 is slated for July as far as I know. We just need to decide on a country to hold it. Probably over your way, I would assume.

Happy New Year to all in the states, won't happen here(mideast) for another 13 hours. I plan on going to Kansas City with a friend, buying a widscreen TV, and then proceed to bring it to a little "get-together" at someone's house away from civilization. Figure out the rest.

2005 is going to suck. I liked New Years Day in the year 2000 when people thought the world was going to end, it was great there was chaos and crazy preachers out in the streets telling people that the Apocalypse was coming.

Wasnt that the hilarious comedy about the fact that they went into space and mined into the center of the comet and dropped charges, and stayed to blow it up... I didnt think they realised they didnt need to blow it up, one charge would of set it miles of its course, bl to them i guess. haha.

I think so, it's been a while since I've seen the movie. Both DI and Armegeddon involved setting mines/nuclear explosive devices into the meteor in hopes of destroying it.
