Its not illegal to have sex under the age of 16, it just depends how old the person that you're having sex with is. Besides statutory rape is extremely difficult to convict on due to the nature of the relationship. And ryan i doubt you needed to go on the pill did u even have any prospects for giving that vcard away?

Gracie's right...the illegality with the age of consent all depends on if one person is above it, and one below it...if so the one ABOVE it is breaking the law...the one below it is still totally innocent (well...obviously not in the virginal sense

) and is the "victim". That said...as Gracie said...it's very hard to convict for statutory rape. Happens a lot more stateside than here too...and it's not that commonplace there...it's nigh on a "dead" crime over here.
