Which decade?
If you could live in any decade (and you can include ones you've actually lived in) which would it be?
For me it'd be the 70's. Musically alone it was amazing. Here are just some of the names (and forgive me if I miss some that other people are fans of, just tack them on the thread). Aerosmith AC/DC Black Sabbath Deep Purple Eric Clapton Jethro Tull KISS Led Zeppelin Pink Floyd Queen Styx The Eagles The Buzzcocks The Clash The Jam The Rolling Stones The Sex Pistols The Who Van Halen Which decade would you pick? You can pick for any reason, fashion, music, film, anything. |

I have many, but if I had to choose it'll be the 60s. The Golden Age of innocence.
Fashion Simply amazing. Flooded pants and suede shoes. Cardigans and crew cuts. Like the 50s, this era had the best fashion. The guys were so plain, and the women had the best hairstyles, now... mohawks and streaks. Music To die for, really. If you think otherwise, you can die too. Films The movies during this era are surprisingly good. I now have favorites. Runners: 40s, 50s, and the 70s (mainly due to Dazed & Confused).

Sorry, but I'm sticking in the present-technology, sports, and movies, please.

1870's. It would be so awesome to live back then. I guess I just like the idea of being able to raise a family on a farm somewhere and not have to worry about all these annoyances of modern times.

But, if I had no choice, I'd choose the middle ages(screw the 1900's).

How old are we assuming we are to be for the years we want to live in? I don't mind present day, though a bit into the future wouldn't do any harm

60's
the music is the best that ever will be, theres no disputing that, and the spirit of the era is intoxicatingly free, even with the government being so conservative id move to london and chill out in the early 60's with The Stones, Eric Clapton, Graham Bond Org., Alexis Korner and The Who etc etc etc before anyone ever heard of them, see what Brian Jones was like before he went funny, drop alot of LSD, have alot of sex and enjoy life i have long hair now so all i'd need would be a paisley shirt and skin tight jeans and i'd fit right in AHHHH IF ONLY!!!

60's would've been my second choice but for the punk era the 70s took it for me. The Stones were pretty dull in the 60s, they became the Stones we know in the 70s.
Anyway, Deviljett8 |

Berkeley in the sixties. I would totally be a hippy. Or I would want to live in London or Paris in the early 1900s or late 1800s.
