Half-Life 2 = $200 Steak.
Halo 2 = Ground Beef. Half-Life 2 makes Halo 2 feel old, like a game released 5 years ago. It's absolutely incredible. A small example of the awesome things this game lets you do: I picked up a glass bottle and threw it at the head of a Combine, it shattered into several little pieces. I then went over and picked up the individual pieces and starting throwing them around. They physics engine is...amazing.

Boy, Half-Life 2 looks AMAZING. I mean, surface of the sun amazing. I'm going to wait for the Xbox version, while mooching off of my friend who preordered the game a few months ago. He said it was the best game on the pc. No doubt the Single Player aspect of the game will own Halo 2's, but it can't touch Halo 2's multiplayer(I'm talking about Counter-Strike).

Just kidding. I wish I could play this game. Think it'll run on a $800 gateway laptop?

You know you guys are pathetic when your arguing which is better Half-Life 2 or Halo 2. All I have to say is grow up, in the end there both just video games so why bitch about them. Where's the love you all, it's all about the puff puff give and groupy love!

The gravity gun is better than sex.
Right now I'm in Ravenholm and can't wait to get out. That place reminds me a lot of Resident Evil 2.

I'm not even sure if I'll play HL2 single player. I'll be spending most if not all of my time playing CS and DoD once it's out.

I've never been quite so impressed with a game since... well, ever.
The graphics, the action, the physics, the storyline... and all the little things make this an absolute joy to play. The only time I've played a game which has made me smile as much as this, is Sam and Max or Monkey Island, and thats for different reasons. Ryan, play half life 2 single player. It is so very good. Superior in almost everyway to farcry, and doom 3.

As cliff just reminded me, Half Life 2 somehow makes me think of Far Cry which was also a favorite Single Player game of mine, not sure if it is the story line or the massive outdoor environments that catch me, I’m just glad I can play these games with full eye candy.

Today I've played 3 hours and I must say, Half-Life 2 is one of the best first-person-shooters all time. Great atmosphere, sensational graphic and brilliant gameplay. Only the installation with Steam was really really shit.
