My Way
Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire? (I personally don't know who I'd choose... although I lean towards Kelly) |

I actually have a few Gene Kelly movies I'm planning to see in just a few days. In particular 'Singin' In The Rain', which I recorded this morning but haven't gotten around to watching it yet. The only Fred Astaire movie I've seen was 'The Towering Inferno', so I guess I don't know him well enough. But if I had to choose, I'd go with Kelly too. Coincidentally Kelly and Astaire both starred in 'Ziegfeld Follies' which is going to air on TCM in a few weeks.
If you're not satisfied with my answer, perhaps Brad will give his. He probably knows them better than I do. However... The Towering Inferno or The Poseidon Adventure?

Richard, for Gene Kelly films try out his debut For Me and My Gal. Fabulous movie, with Judy Garland. I need to watch that soon, I left it at my parents though. And Fred Astaire go with Easter Parade... again with Judy Garland. Back to it now! Indiana Jones and the Last Cursade, or Raiders of the Lost Ark? |
