Is it just me or does Halo 2's story keep getting worse and worse?

Havent finished it, or even got that far into it, but it seems good so far :/. Scott, you are what we like to call a "dumb" player. Go play Dues Ex, its a shooter, with an amazing story.

I think they are interesting, but then again, i thought halo 1's levels were aswell. Im a quake player, i dont get all hyped over level design. Been playing h2 every night after work with some mates online, damn im having some fun.

kicking ass at everything else team-based (team slayer, ctf, territories, team oddball, etc), but i just don't have the touch in 1v1 matches yet.

If you don???t like Halo 2 it really doesn???t matter, because the few million people that bought it love the game, those who are less critical on perfection that is. Nothing is perfect, but halo 2 comes as close as it gets.

Halo is incredible online and the campaign is simply, phenomenal.

Halo 2's Campaign sucks, I finished it yesterday. Multiplayer is where this game is at. And Halo 2 is far from perfection, the game that comes closest to being flawless is Super Mario Bros. 3.

Damn Straight. I heard Halo 2's Campaign was very similar to Halo's. Which makes it like a chore. I'll still play through it, though. And yes, SMB3 is nearly flawless. Mmm.

1600x1200 with full AF and 4x AA at a very respectable frame rate, given the quality. It's somewhere around 45 or 50.
If I don't use any AA, my frame rate's in the 70's typically.

This isn't with Ultra texture quality, btw..just high. Need a 512MB card to really handle Ultra quality. Only difference is completely uncompressed textures.

Heh, I play everything on low detail at 800x600, with 2x AA and get around 30fps. The game still looks incredible though, and still succeeds in scaring the living shit out of me a couple of times each time I play it.

That leaked Half Life 2 beta thing ran a whole lot better on my little old PC than Doom 3 does, so I'm looking forward to that.

Actually, I thought it was preety damn good-superior to the original(which, many think is the best storyline in a game.) I have to agree, though, that multiplayer is the best reason to get Xbox Live(LAN party tommorow Definiatly the best game on the Xbox hands down-awesome graphics, incredible sound(still the best score in a game, don't listen to spire:P), addictive multiplayer, and a great storyline for SP.
BTW, Ekkoes got a lower score than Prime by IGN

I finished the single player last night. All I can say is it was average at best. Then again I did not buy the game for single player.

I'll get to test multiplay tonight, some friends and I are gonna set up a LAN.
