The occasionally updated news make me visit the homepage quite regularly.
As flightfreak mentioned, the "new topic section" is useful too.

i check the page maybe once or twice a month. i'd check it on a more regular basis if keira's films were out or if there was some groundbreaking news in keiradom.

I visit the forums nearly daily. I don't normally spend very much time in here, since the forum has become more boring these days
 I see if there's any new interesting posts/threads, if there are, I read them and/or replies to them..
