Keira on Leno
I, like an idiot, forgot to DVR it and totally missed it.
Did anyone record it and feel like posting the interview? Or know where to find it? |

Well, I can give a brief summary.
Keira talked about her new appartment. She moved in six months ago and has since moved back in with her parents because there's a problem with the water. She said that it's a two-bedroom appartment, and she's invited six friends to live with her. It's about an hour from her parent's house. She says she has chores at her parents' house (taking out the trash). She explained the sell a script/baby deal that her parents had when she was born. She talked briefly about making Star Wars. Apparently she fell off a golfcart on the set while wearing just a bathrobe and flashed Ewan McGregor. She hasn't seen King Arthur yet because it's not finished. She talked a little about filming King Arthur, including the blue warpaint and how she's terrified of horses. Keira looked very cute, although I don't really like her haircut - her bangs are so long you can't see her eyes.

Yeah, my ass is quite sore from KICKING MYSELF for missing her on Leno for the SECOND TIME! Grrr.
I hate that. Oh well. It's the Letterman interview that really counts! I heard from some friends of mine that, during the interview, Keira was her usual charming self, while Jay was his usual idiot self. Here are some screen caps (thanks to Juanma!) from the show. I think she looks adorable, but what is up with those bangs? You can't see her eyes half the time! One Two Three Four Five Six Seven I hope they'll re-air it soon.

It was funny how she described her character with the blue paint on as "an angry smurf" leno said if any enemy saw that they'd just laugh and drop their weapon.
and i love her dress. it's so different, u'd never see anyone wearing that. it's so unique. i wonder where i could get something that looks like that, or who's the designer

Leno kept commenting on her accent and telling her that she doesn't look like a fighter/beer-drinker...which made things kind of akward at points. But, it was a nice interview. I never knew about the baby/script story: pretty interesting.

So when Ricky Martin sang "She Bangs, She Bangs", all he meant was she's growing her hair over her eyes ? Paul

I thought it was a lovely interview. She looked absolutely gorgeous, of course she could have done well without the bangs because I was looking forward to seeing her eyes and forehead, but overall I was very pleased by it. My only downfall of the night probably would have gone to Dan Abrams. I know he has a job that involves talking about the recent big cases in America, but Keira looked really out of place and never said a word. The last shot of Keira was shown just before the commerical break to the Avril Lavigne performance and she looked rather quiet. But that's probably the only emotion everyone that night should have had. It doesn't matter... looking forward to Letterman.

Thankyou Richard and EmotionSickness. June 29th. Same day as Cold Mountain and The Perfect Score. Now I just have to figure out what time and channel it is on

Hmm. I'll have to pick up Cold Mountain. I've been waiting for that to come out on DVD for ages, it seems.
Assuming you live in the U.S., Letterman comes on the channel CBS at 10:35 Central Time (11:35 Eastern). It lasts an hour.

The Letterman interview will probably be the same thing as Leno. What else that's interesting could they talk about that wasn't mentioned in Leno?

Truth be told, these talk shows do usually rehash the same old topics. |
