It's got secret nano particulates that makes giant-sized talking turtles and the supa Shredder. Bwhahaha! Merely radioactive? Don't you know that radiation in large quantites kill you?  Or maybe it's secret essence. Something that just looks like green ooze, but in actuallity, the ooze holds the secret of life!

shredder never got doused in radioactive waster. shredder's just an evil martial arts guy with cool armour, no morals, and a penchant for petty theft.
