England. Can't stop laughing. Interesting to see that the much-maligned Sven got a draw with Portugal without Drogba, his best player, whereas Capello, the darling of England fans and the media alike, can't beat Algeria.

World Cup winners? You're having a laugh. Rooney up there with Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi? Bollocks.

Landon. Fucking. Donovan.
It shouldn't have had to come down to a goal in the 91st minute, but then if that retard from Mali hadn't screwed us out of a goal against Slovenia, it wouldn't have mattered either. Dempsey was onside... goal should have counted... but it didn't and we were forced to press.

United States - 1
Algeria - 0

Glad England went out. Much as part of me was hoping they'd do pretty well (as a Brazil fan I wasn't wanting them to win but a Brazil-England final would have been fine by me), the jingoism and crazy overhyping of English players will hopefully cease now (fat chance). Fact is other than Rooney, Lampard and Ashley Cole, the rest are average.

My second niece was born today. They still haven't decided what to name her, but they're thinking about Ines

I am so happy because my suitcase has finally made it home and nothing was stolen from it, although it's visible that all the stuff was disarranged and some bags were torn. Anyway, now I have all my clothes, souvenirs and other stuff from the US!
