2008 Sucks!

Is it just me, or has 2008 sucked beyond belief?

In my case:

My limp has remained, I am in chronic pain, despite surgery and P.T.
My father's business of 17 years, where I basically grew up, closed due to the current crisis
Barnes and Nobles only gives one $0.54 refill on soft drinks
a bunch of celebrities died
And now matter which party controls congress, they have acted like idiots,
