The Hole exceeded my expectations by a lot.

I thought it was just gonna be the equivalent of an afterschool special.


Instead, it was a semi-dark look into lives semi-realistic teens in their semi-realistic boarding school.

Hard to explain why I liked it so much, But i think yOu wOuld mayBe lIkE it if you gave it Some more time.

The one thing I never understood about The Hole is how Keira's character is described as a bitch. I thought she wasn't all that bitchy... Sure, she was popular and knew how to play her cards right, but a bitch? Nah.

she was still trying to hook her girl up with mike, and had the power to fight off his advances when she was drunk.

I don't think she was supposed to be a bitch. The point, I think, was exactly the one Leonie made, she came across as a pretty and popular girl who knew how to manipulate people but then you realised she wasn't the manipulative one, nor did her good looks come without a price (won't spoil it just in case people haven't seen it). Basically she was supposed to be the girl Leonie described but the end turned everything on its head, an attempt by the director to show that things are not always as they seem.

That being said, Keira's performance apart it was a poor film.

I was flipping through the channels and read 'info' about the movie. It sounded interesting, then I saw Keira's name and watched it. She did good in it I think, most actresses can't die so grossly, but still look gorgeous. The movie as a whole: creeped the living Hell out of me.

Try digging around Van Leest, I found my copy there (also a Dutchie, hello). Discount bookshops are also a good place to start. Basically, anytime you come across a CD shop, have a dig around their obscure cheap DVDs.

For the moment, get a friend who has Canal +. My first ever copy was recorded (good old VHS tape) by a friend.

Its a good movie.
I think its the best film for the male's under us, becuese she is topless for a moment. Here in Holland, i saw it not long ago and when i saw the film, i acturly started to like her. I love drawing and i tryed to draw her. It was one of my best I ever made! Now i found this site and I would like to see things going on here. i have to say this is a very nice site.

okay keira was born on 26th March 1985 the moive was relased in april 2001 that made keria 15 right my maths is crap but does that mean in 2001 she turned 16 or 15 and was 14 at time of filming or what(FYI i failed maths at school)

i don't think its a big deal 16 is the legal age to have sex in britian and kids younger are already doing stuff so the scene made the film more "real life" so it doesn't bother me
but i just feel sooo sorry for Miley Cyrus who gets slatted very very unfairly just for showing her back or tummy in some off her own personal pics that someone stole from her. and vanssea Hudgens posed full nude Vag**a and EVERYTHING also at 15 why can't she get the same treatment its unfair when all kids are like that at that age.
