Fuck Ratatouille in it's stupid rat butt. I probably lost the ballot at work because of the animated, but we'll see...
I won't actually get to see, though, because I was scheduled to work tonight, I'm on my break right now. DAMMIT.

Transformers got robbed. Seriously, the film was as groundbreaking, visually, as Jurassic Park and T2.

I haven't even heard of La Vie en Rose but hooray for that Marion Cotillard. I thought the Oscars were predictable, minus that Best Actress win. Congrats to all who won, especially to Atonement for Original Score.

I got 6 out of 10 right! Woooo. I'm finally respected by Ranman. Well, possibly respected.

Edited my post? Whatever, duuude.
It's bad that out of the ten major awards I guessed 6 right, but at work we took a ballot on every category and I only got 7 right. So in the twenty or whatever extra categories I got one more right.

I only got two right....I'm losing it...
'twas much fun thought watching the Oscars with Ranman and Michael and "dig". It made this very boring Oscars bearable. |

I missed a good chunk of this show last night towards the middle -- about an hour -- and then caught the last two awards: Best Director and Best Picture. Overall it was very exciting to watch. I intend to see No Country For Old Men, There Will Be Blood, and La Vie En Rose (it's Edith Piaf, man!) as soon as they are released on DVD.
That 80 Years of Oscar clip they had was truly moving, in my opinion. Just watching all those brief moments with some of those incredible people -- John Wayne for one -- made me sad.
