I'm confident it will run Crysis, but maybe not well. I think all I need for the moment is a good overclocking core2duo motherboard so I can get my chip from 1.87ghz to 3ghz, and overclock the ram. I got a seriously cheap motherboard last time, it has both AGP and PCI express slots! Not a performance monster. Then again, I have DSLR stuff to buy, mobile phone stuff to buy, laptop stuff to buy, driving lessons to buy, French lessons to buy... Any motherboard suggestions?

I'm in the same boat, I just need to upgrade one part and I'll be back in the game. My CPU is letting me down, an old S939 AMD X2 4800+. Trouble is I need a new motherboard cause S939 phased out years ago.
Nothing much runs Crysis well. If the game loads and doesnt CTD, you have a decent computer. :P

When I upgraded last time, I had my x800xt and wanted to keep using it for a while so kept it and got the only motherboard I could find that had socket 775 and agp and pci.
Thing is after I upgraded, I went a a computer fair in london about a month after and bought a pci express graphics card :P You think there is any need for any more ram than 2gb? I run vista business.

I have 3gb in mine and I cant see any difference for day-to-day stuff between that and 1gb. Wont be long till we need 4gb though.
I still run XP though. I have Vista dual-booting but I only ever use it to test DirectX 10 stuff, so I'm not all that familiar with how much memory it uses. Anything I have read recently seems to think that 2gb is just about the sweet spot at the moment...but memory is one of those things that you cant get enough of. And its cheap.

Don't run Vista myself but from what I hear you'll want 4GB to run it sweetly.

I bought a face cleanser with seaweed. It was all worth the little money i spent on it. I use it daily and it makes the skin feel like baby skin.

Aqua Marina. i bought it from one of the Lush shops. Whenever i've walked past one of the shops it smells so nice but I never been to one. I got a couple of other stuff aswell. Think they have a website.

I am a total and complete Lush addict. Their stuff is fair trade, animal testing-free and doesn't contain any experimental synthetic crap, the likes of which you'll find in most other cosmetic products. I recently bought one of their solid deodorants. No more aluminium salts and parabens in MY armpits. |

I bought an iPod Classic because, well, I dunno. It's black and holds all my music. Yay.

I've been spending too much money on records lately. I've been buying a lot of vinyl because I feel that if I own a hardcopy of an album, it's the best way. I usually download everything, and I can just burn a cd if i wanted one for my car. And I really like setting up the turntable. So I've been getting records. Plus I'm a total hipster loser, but whatever.
Today I bought Queen - Sheer Heart Attack Bob Dylan - Infidels Talking Heads - More Songs about Buildings and Food David Bowie - Best of Vol II all for 29 bucks. Sweet deal.
