ooooh, there are so many places I've never been to!!! The only city I've visited ( I mean the one which photos have been posted here) is St Petersburg. All of the photos of your cities are so beautiful, I' love to visit all of them (and many more). I want to show you some photos of my city (Moscow) taken from the internet (may be I'll show you some photos taken by me later:icon_smil ) My favourite places:
Roads from a bird's eye view
The Moscow-river quay

The Novodevichy convent (I like it very much, it's so beautiful I think!)

The Mayakovsky theatre

The Bolshoi theatre

You see 2 grey buildings in the left corner? The house we live in is behind them. It's not far from Kremlin.

This is my university and the original town hall. I like to refer to it as "Hogwarts." Photo taken by me and my dad's trusty tripod. Wuv.

Flightfreak, I remember photo 1, 2, 3 and 4 from my school trip of... Christ, six years ago. I'm getting old.

Our youth hostel was a five minute walk away from photo number 3, if that is indeed the Gravensteen castle. If you cross the road there and walk towards the centre, there is the most amazing little Belgian chocolate shop on your left. I should know, I'm a girl.

Classmates of mine put oranges in the tramrails in front of Gravensteen and watched them explode as the trams came by. We were such evil little arseholes.

Welcome!))
You know, my friend visited Belgium about 4 years ago. I don't remember in which city did their group live, but she liked the trip very much.
Travelling is such a great thing

Belgium and Russia win for best pics, I'll say!

I'd love to go to Russia some day...my uncle got his degree in Moscow, he loved it. (the city, I'm not sure about the degree). I know quite a bit about Russia's history, especially the imperial families, from the first czar to the last. I love russian literature, my latest obsession is Pushkin :Hail: The man was a genius...

All I know about Belgium is that they make amazing chocolate :P Kidding.

My city is....picturesque, I'll say, but it doesn't have any impressive monuments. Other cities, like Colonia del Sacramento, are amazing. We do have what is called the "Old City", and that's pretty darn cool. It's literally the old part of my city. Beautiful. Maybe I'll post a pic later

I watched Rachel Ray eat her way around Brussels.
Mmmm...chocolate.

Gasparilla Pirate Ship
This is the only "monument" I can think of. It's a floating, fake pirate ship that they use in the Gasparilla Festival every year.

I was just going to post the picture but it turned huge, so fuck it...you'll just have to click the link.

Me too!! I live in a small, crappy town called Hugo, but I prefer to say I live in Forest Lake. It's been around for 100 years I guess and they've just now started to do something with it. Not much to photograph here. Maybe I'll take a picture of the only resturant in the whole town. A place called Ricci's that's rotting and smells like mold. Don't you wish you lived here??

I visited Paris with my family when I was 14 (6 years ago). The Eiffel tower is so beautiful at night with all those lights. We were sitting near it, taking fotos, my mother was chatting with french people (she knows french very well) Also I liked Disneyland very much! It's cool!!!!:icon_smil

Maiakovskaya

Arbatskaya

the hall of Arbatskaya station

Komsomolskaya

Novoslobodskaya

Business-center (the newest one)

Would you believe I've actually been at the very top of that thing? It was one of the most terrifying things I have ever done. It was raining, and the marble was SO slippery. My vertigo kicked in like you wouldn't believe...

However, now I get to brag about having climbed the leaning tower of Pisa, so it was all worth it I also counted it as one of the "cultural activities" school made us do. Haharr!

I've only been once. Despite the fact that it rained a lot, the buildings looked just magnificent. In addition, it's the only place I've ever seen two crashed cars in the middle of a crossing, with the ambulance smashed into the traffic lights :P

Here is some "attractions" from where I live:Bergen in Norway.
It may not all be big and fancy monuments but anyway. The Viking swords are from Stavanger though.

Viking monument in Stavanger.

Fløibanen: Funicular.

More an oversight image of Bergen "downtown"

The Grieg Hall. Named after a composer of classical music.

Fantoft Stave-church.

Håkonshallen/The HaakonsHall and the Rosenkrantz tower. The hall is from 1261, and the tower from about 1560.

Lots of other stuff too, but don't wanna make a too long post.

This thread makes me jealous.

At over four miles, Bayshore Boulevard in Tampa boasts the longest continuous sidewalk in the world. Too bad the bay smells like open ass.
