Trailer Park
I couldn't find a thread that was exactly like this. We often start fresh threads everytime we find a nice new movie trailer online that we want to share/discuss etc. I figured that it would be a really great idea if we had an umbrella thread for that topic, rather than starting a new thread for every new movie that comes out.
Just a though but let me start it off with the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer. It's a very cool trailer and I reckon the movie will be excellent. http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/tee...mnt_large.html |

This thread couldn't have come at a better time. I was just about to start a thread about the new Rocky film. Good. Anyway, here's the trailer:
http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/rockybalboa.html Sly actually looks pretty good considering his age. And Burt Young is returning as well. Come Christmas we'll find out if anybody still cares about Rocky. As for TMNT, it's going to be a while before its release, but it looks interesting. I've always been partial to the movies and the cartoon, so I am quite excited to see this. But imdb credits one person as the voice, does that mean he voices all the turtles? Judging from the trailer I presume it's going to be animated.

I think it is animated, but no idea about the voices. Wouldn't trust IMDB as far as I could throw them this far away from a release.
Rocky's an interesting one. Sly looks good, but I worry it could be yet another crap sequel made for the money, and perhaps a film too far that could ruin the entire series. But then again, if it's done as a bit of a spoof, which there seem slight indications there are (that joke at the end of the trailer..."Probably more like the 70's"), not really taking itself TOO seriously, it might be fun. |

TMNT trailer made me wet myself. That's going to be so cool, I don't care that it's animated.

The Prestige
The Science of Sleep Children of Men The Fountain Very excited for those four films. I've been waiting on The Fountain for about a year and a half, and I'll be so anxious when I'm sitting in the theatre and the lights dim. The Science of Sleep trailer was shown before A Scanner Darkly, and I know it looks totally pretentious but I'm a sucker for all that shit. And it's Michel Gondry, one of my favorite directors. Children of Men and The Prestige I've only just recentely learned about, but they both look like they're going to kick a lot of ass. Chris Nolan and Alfonso Cuaron! Two of my other favorite directors.

Thank you, Bitches
TMNT, while nice-looking, is screwing itself over for using the new Turtles model instead of the incredibly better Turtles of old, the cartoons we all grew up with.

I would like to point out that neither of your posts on this thread included a trailer. The irony of that statement being that this post won't either.
Tut tut Jake. You only just heard about Children of Men? Despite me mentioning it in September last year? Shows how much you listen to me. I should be upset but considering I do talk so much shit it's understandable. As I've posted before, they filmed a few scenes from Children of Men in the pub me and my workmates used to go to after work. The pub itself is literally next door to my old office. Actually saw Clive Owen afterwards and he was a bit of a knob. Oh well, illusions shattered. I've been looking forward to that just because I'll be able to say "I talked to that guy!" (as I talked to some of the extras) or "I've been to that pub!" Nah Frodo, I prefer the new style turtles. But I'll give you that Spidey 3 looks like it'll shit all over anything else. |

Not sure calling it Casino Royale was a great idea as it conjures up images of the Peter Sellers spoof. But it doesn't half look good and it looks like Bond should do. Had my doubts about whether Daniel Craig was ready for this sort of role but he looks perfect.
Eva Green is hotness, although having seen all there is to see of her in The Dreamers, not sure what else there is to see in a Bond movie I liked the look of Miami Vice based on the TV trailers over here, and I'm definitely going to see it on the opening weekend. I think Mann showed his panache with Collateral and Heat showed raw quality. This looks like a labour of love, perhaps a lifelong ambition (to make a film out of his hit TV series) and I think it's been his baby. Based on that trailer I'm even MORE convinced. Try and keep me away! |

After seeing it, Vice has a gun fight to rival Heat in awesomeness...no bullshit.
Oh, and for some reason, other than traffic lights and blood, their is no red to be found it Vice at all.
