does keria do any of her own stunts

anyone know if keria does any of her own stunts. i love to see her kick butt, but is it really her most of the time? i know prob not any of the big stunts, but what about like the sword fighting in POTC and KA. does she do any of that herself?

no, she does not do all of her stunts, tho she does do some. i'm sure paul could give you more detail on that.

From the commentary on the PotC disk she made it sound like she had a stunt double for nearly every scene that didn't have her just walking around and talking.

But in Domino I hear the only stunt double she needed was for the butt scenes.

Actually for POTC2 she did alot of her own stunts. I think
she is beginning to like that aspect more.

That's part of how she got famous, after all. She was a double for Natalie Portman in Star Wars 1. Since when do you care whether an ACTOR does their own stunts? You don't judge Mel Gibson on how well his stunt double hides the fact that he is a stunt double, so why would you even worry about that side of her craft?

What you really want to know is, is she as nice in real life as she is in your fantasies? Will she thrill you as much then as she did in that movie existence?

my concern is less on her personality and more on her acting skills. not like i'm going to be making chum with her anytime soon.

as for the stunts... she was commenting how much she wanted to be in the action scenes for POTC, so i'm sure she was thrilled to do some of her own stunts in POTC2

I saw part of an interview recently, as part of a promo for Pirates 2, where Keira talked about how much she had enjoyed doing more stunt work on the film, especially sword-fighting. The stunt co-ordinator also mentioned how impressed he was with Keira's ability, but then again, he's hardly going to criticise her, is he? But certainly, Keira mentioned that if her acting career doesn't work out, she would love to continue a career in stunt work.

Maybe. That's just what she said. And, it's understandable. Acting at the top doesn't last, no matter how good you are - you simply fizzle out when the media loses interest. It's just sensible to consider options for later life. If she likes stunt work, well, it's a possibility. Plus stunt work is cool.
