You know that day destroys the night
Night divides the day
Try to run
Try to hide
Break on through to the other side

We chased our pleasures here
Dug our treasures there
But can you still recall
The time we cried

Let's swim to the moon
Uh-huh
Let's climb through the tide
Penetrate the
evening
that the
city sleeps to hide
Let's swim out ta-night love
it's our turn to try
Park beside the ocean on our
moonlight drive

When the still sea conspires an armor
And the sullen and aborted currents
breed tiny monsters
true sailing is dead!
awkward instant
And the first animal is jettisoned!
Legs furiously clumping
their stiff green gallop
pause
consent
in mute nostril agony
carefully reclined
and sealed over
