I went with my friend Ashley to go look for a cat. She's actually not supposed to have one because her apartment complex doesn't allow it. We went to the humane shelter and found this one year old boy that was gray with black stripes with the most beautiful blue eyes. We were going to get it, but Ashley had to fill out this sheet and since she didn't want them to call her apartment place, she said on the sheet it was goin to stay at her parents' house. So in order for her to buy one, they had to call her parents just to make sure it was OK, and make sure all their other pets have been vaccinated up to date. All their dogs are outisde dogs, and they're country-farm-folk, so no, they weren't vaccinated. So she couldn't get the cat.
We got a free one from the classifieds instead. It looks like a kitten version of one of your cats, Glare. We named her "Keets."

I like em. Pretty cat, and I'm a fan of big dogs. I wanted to get a Shiba Inu dog but that idea was thrown out by my room mates... bleg. Oh well, now we're getting a cute little Pug so I guess that's better than nothing.

I made it to the end of round 4 in the "Shoot the kittens'' game. Now I feel bad, but as sick and horrid as it was, there was something funny about it (don't question my sanity).

I absolutely love cats. I love all animals, really (except for owls ... *shudder*), but I was raised with cats (I didn't get a dog until about 5 years ago). I have four right now: Muffin, a crabby tabby; she'll be 17 in September ( ); Chandler, a huge, tabby tomcat, lovingly nicknamed "fatboy"; and then there are my babies, Binky and Bam Bam, both three.

I'm so proud of my girls.
