I suspect that it is just me, but I'm confused.

I click on a link in something called something like "Relationships & Sexuality" and I read some stuff by some guys asking questions I enjoy enough to take the time to answer. I've seen some statements in some of the messages talking about that particular thread being in a "woman's only" part of the forum, but I didn't get there that way.

To me, I think, the "Relationships & Sexuality" thread was separate from the "Keira Girls" thread. I'd never/"probably not ever" post in a girls only forum. Because "Men are from Mars" I often find that I'm not too interested in "Women Only" conversations. Imagine "Women's Night" and how boring that would be for some ugly old guy.

So, now I see that the "Relationships & Sexuality" thread is back inside the "Keira Girls" thread. Does it move in and out depending on where I am looking at the index from? The reason I am asking that is because several of these threads seem to migrate. "Step Right Up; Buy Your Ticket; See the Incredible Disappearing Thread".

There appears to be two different ways into a thread; one of which gets you criticized if you are male... (nothing new about that, however...)

So, the interesting "Who Do You Love? besides Kiera?" Gives this old man a little jolt. Having been single, and old and ugly for about twenty years I have a really great fantasy life. I especially enjoy Kari Wuhrer (We send her questions and she sends us the answers, sometimes a tape of the answers, she is approachable), Firefly, Farscape, Star Trek (and almost all of its derivatives), just about everything Spielberg ever did.

In any case it sure looks like that "Celebs you love (Besides Keira)" is a part of the "Relationships & Sexuality" subforum. Now, this is probably because I have my web browser set up weird, (I always do things "My Way"); but it might just be that I didn't pay enough attention to the fact that everything says that it is part of the "girls forum" and there really is no permission for a male to write in "Relationships & Sexuality"...

Actually, I did. There was no way to put the two images on the same message and have two different subjects in the same message.

My original intention was to put them in the same message, and I did; but then it made no sense. The point was that

1st) "Relationships & Sexuality" appeared to be separate from "Keira Girls", and show a screen snap that proves that.

2nd) "Celebs you love (Besides Keira)" was a subject under "Relationships & Sexuality" and show a screen snap that looks like it proves that. I say looks like because If I read it closely I can see that everything is tagged "Keira Girls" and I should be smart enough to read every little thing before doing anything. (Of course I don't do things that way; I'm a male. I rarely read instructions, [except for cook books] and I rarely ask for directions [because for the last five years I've driven an 18-wheeler, and I have onboard some of the best laptop mapping software AND the Rand McNally Truckers Edition Atlas] ).

I'm trying to understand something, and if your rules make it so I can't explain what it is that I don't understand; there has to be a way around the lemma. The point here is not to "not break the rules"; (I was a Technical Writer for about six years and I break the writing rules all the time.) The point was that I don't understand how something can be both "Keira Girls only" and not. If "Girls" are the only people who have "Relationships & Sexuality" then I can understand that you wouldn't want men posting in there. I assume you had this discussion long ago and decided to bring "Relationships & Sexuality" (RelSex?) out into the Wavefront Community Sub-forum, and my real problem is that I wanted to claim some fantasies as "Celebs you love (Besides Keira)" without adding a parallel thread in some non-existent "Keira's Men" sub-forum. Oh well, 'twas a trivial thing... Here am I going to start a duplicate of any of the interesting threads in the "Keira Girls" sub-forum... :fencing:

As a Sub-Forum, it's the exception to the rule. It exists both in and out of the Keira Girls Forum. Originally, it was started in the Girls Forum, since girls wanted to talk about... well, girl stuff. But, when it comes to giving and asking for advice, both sexes must (and should) equally partake. Thus, whatever dilemma you had going for you, don't fret. Have a cookie.

Besides, if the admins or mods see fit to move threads, they'll do it. Just PM them.

Relationships & Sexuality is for all forum members. It started out as a subforum to Keira Girls because that's what most the Girls forum was about anyway. The guys decided that they wanted to discuss along on those topics, and so the subforum was born.

That's what I figured, but I still got trapped by the "Celebs you love (Besides Keira)" picture thread. Probably mostly because the very next thread was "Female Members Pic Thread! - ". So, I stupidly assumed that there were two threads. Sorry about that! But, I'm still curious. Where do I post my "Celebs you love (Besides Keira)"? There are four or five comments inside that thread criticizing males for posting inside there. I just couldn't resist.

Let's face it. Nobody "really" wants to know which young women a 62 year old man thinks is "Sexy". Hell, if truth be told, probably any woman in the same room is sexy enough for most 62 year old men... (I'm abit old fashioned, and just a little bit twisted myself. I really enjoy exotic dancers like "Sunshine" but I lust after "proper ladies" who keep their knickers on. And what I've been searching for for the last five years is someone to take Tango lessons with. You just can't Tango alone.)

Can't imagine it working. What's the average age on this board? Right around that age there is a time when the ladies go through a "performing" stage, and so do the men. AND that is the time when kids begin to discriminate their sexuality. What they really want is to go down to the community swimming hole and discover each other. "Keira's Girls" is where some boys "might" actually hear a whisper of truth out of some girl's mouth. They damn sure won't hear the truth on a date. Especially when the culture is such that guys are rating dates on the basis of what they expect back from what level of expenditure... I forget which thread that is on, and it could be that it was posted by one of the misogynists I've seen here, but it is a deplorable attitude. (Do you have a spits on the floor for emphasis smiley?)

What a rush! I just remembered those summers I spent in the Base Swimming Pool, and all the little girls with their new Nylon Speedos, and how it was so much fun to ... OK "Beautiful Lady." I'm learning about phpBB because one of my favorite female celebrities' website has been hit by "Viagra Zombies". So I volunteered to moderate/administer it for awhile.

They are using phpBB, but it has become obvious from reading a few pages of the "User Manual" that it would be trivial to set up a "Usergroup" to sort posting capability by sex. Why bother even "permitting" males to post in a "female only" area? Merely set up a "usergroup" which contains all the females and a Forum which only allows that particular "usergroup" to post? I think it is such a trivial thing that your administration must have thought of it and decided that they don't want a true "female only" posting area. I do think I'll do it on this website I'm going to help with; just out of perversity... Should drive the guys wild that there are comments that they can't respond to. I think I heard about a college class where that experiment was tried. I'll bet it really gets someone's attention. In fact, I'll bet the guys try to "pretend" to be girls. Women I know would castrate them, right now.
