im watching this film 2moro ive seen it b4 great film to watch all alone or realy l8 at night because totaly mind thriller and keira is so fit in it although she is fit in anything

Film4 were behind some of the funding for it I believe...might be wrong though.

Good Movie, I recently bought it on DVD! I thought that Keira was very good in it, as were the others. It was a bit predictable toward the end though!! Oh and Keira's hair wasn't as nice in this as in King Arthur or POTC.

Here's the new artwork for the R1 re-release of The Hole. There's a lot more focus on Keira this time.

Apart from the artwork, it sounds pretty much the same as the Canada release. That's too bad.

Those are definitely all the same bonus features as on the Canada release, which I suppose is the one I have...I got it off Amazon...I'm pretty sure it was from Canada.

This is clearly a case of trying to latch on to Keira's new found fame, and to be honest, I never even heard of this movie's release here in the States. So, if it ups the sales and gives Keira more exposure (no nudity puns intended of course) then win. Either way...I don't think it's unfair to give Keira more billing with this one...she is in the movie a lot...and for me...well...the movie plummets without her in it.

I agree, it's a fairly obvious marketing ploy, and not that uncommon. I'm not sure if the movie was ever released in the States either, I only referred to it as a Region 1 re-release because there was already a R1 version in existence (the Canadian one you mentioned).
