Lesbian Bar

I am very bisexual (I tend to date more women than men). I have dated many women throughout my life. A couple of my friends decided that I needed to get back out and into the swing of things so they invited me to the local lesbian bar. I used to be a regular there, so I went. I have to say...I felt great being there. Are there any other L/G/B/T members out there, and, what has been your experience?

I understand that not all members support the LGBT community and I would ask that if you are unable to respond in a manner that is mature, with prudence, and without judgment that you not post at all. I know that some of you think that LGBT folk are going to hell but I just don't want to hear about it.

Actually, the whole 'Jamie Lee Curtis is a hermaphrodite' story is nothing but a Hollywood urban legend that's been making the rounds for about ten years now (even my uncle, who is a pretty well-known and respected anesthesiologist down here says that he knows people in the business -- medicine -- that simply swear it is true). However, the reality of it is that there is absolutely no merit to this rumor what-so-ever.

I suggest some of you read the book Urban Legends by Richard Roeper. Great insight to some of the most, well, legendary Hollywood myths around.

But, to stay on-topic. I'm not gay, nor am I bi-sexual. Bi-curious? Now that's a different story ... I think. No, seriously. I think I'm past that stage. Someone (a guy!) once told me that, deep down inside, all girls were bi-sexual. Haha. He wishes.

but i went to a gay bar once, i swear i didn't know. there were just as many chicks in there as there were guys. it took about an entire 3 minutes to figure it out before we decided to make a mochary of ourselves infront of all the gay people and then we left before we could say we got beat up by homosexuals.

i have nothing against homesexuals, my uncle is one and he is one of the coolest guys in the world. i just wish he wouldn't bring uncle steve home with him when he comes to visit. gross.
