All Right, Gamers....
I know that there must be a few on this forum....
Tell me -- what games are you playing now, and what are your favorites? I'd have to say that my all-time favorite game is an RPG for the old 8-bit NES, called Crystalis. I still bust it out and play through about once a year or so. So far this console generation, Resident Evil 4 has impressed me the most. Right now, I'm doing Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Yes, I know it's old, but for some reason I never played through this one. It's good, but after San Andreas, nothing could really compete. I also just got done with Black, for the PS2. It sucked. |

Command And Conquer: Zero Hour, screwing around with the General Challenges because they're easy fun but still consumes some time. Also playing Knights of Lodis (GBA), racing a friend to see who finishes it first.

World of Warcraft.
I'm just getting into end-game stuff now. With this game Blizzard have created a seamless world where you can do anything you like. When you step back and look at the game they have made, you never cease to be amazed. And it only gets better the more you play. I currently play 6 characters - hunter, priest, druid, mage, warlock and warrior, and every class feels like playing a different game. Aside from WOW, I play a bit of Battlefield 2 and a lot of serious flight simulation.

There's an end to MMORPGs? Or you mean finishing all the quests released so far (yay for countless expansions) and maxing out skills?

Currently: Burnout Revenge.
Favourite all-time game was probably the old 2D Sonic series. It sorta went shit when they made it 3D but back in the 2D world it OWNED. |

Jacoby, a man of great taste....
I did the first 3 Silent Hills all in a row a few months back. The are all a fucking work of art, although by the time I got to about the middle of Silent Hill 3, I felt like I couldn't take it anymore -- too damn scary; it started to break down my nerve. I want to see the movie. |

It's funny because one part of the movie, there's ashes falling from the sky and the heroine looks up and a flake hits her face. She smears it on her face and looks at her hand and say, "I think this is ash . . ." and the people in the theatre laughed at how stupid it sounded, but that's spoken just like it would be in the game, so i didn't have a problem I have Silent Hill 1, 2, and 3. I bought all three of them for less than 25 bucks. Which is awesome. Still have to get the fourth, but my friends ruined it for me, I know everything about it already. And Swords, Paper Mario fookin rocks. When I get the Wii, the first Paper Mario is one of the first games I'll buy from the Virtual Console thing.

Had a bash on a full 64 player server on BF2 a few hours ago. Fucking mayhem. Aside from the disconnects, it was great fun.
Theres still some fundamental errors in the teamplay code though.

Ahhh... a great MMO with no subscription fee. What is there to hate? Anyone play FEAR yet? Fucking scary game to play start-to-finish with no sleep in between. After finishing it, I became an insomniac with a nightlight for 6 days.

Anyone ever played a game for the PS1 called "Azure Dreams"?
It's one of my all-time favorites. That, and Tenchu: Stealth Assassins basically occupied my time from 1999 through 2001. |

It was just so phychologicaly intense that it was very difficult not to jump at your own shadow. Great use of sound IMO-you could hear just about anything fall/break/die in the game. I can't even begin to tell you how many bullets I wasted trying to kill Alma...
